NXT UK has come out of the gate hot with two fantastic episodes under its belt. This week we have Noam Dar vs. Zack Gibson in the main event. Gibson has proven to be an exceptionally hate-able heel since this year’s UK Championship Tournament. The future has never been brighter for the young stars in the UK brand.
Matches:
Trent Seven vs. Saxon Huxley: With the crowd firmly behind the mustachioed vet, Seven took the lead early with some thunderous Chops and a DDT. After Huxley managed to slow things down, Seven struck back with a Burning Hammer to win.
Flash Morgan Webster vs. Mark Coffey w/ Joe Coffey: Coffey’s intimidating size allowed him to get control early, but Webster’s unique offense brought the match back into The Modfather’s favor. Coffey attempted to gain the upper hand with some help from his brother Joe, but Webster managed to pick up the three-count with a Crucifix Roll-Up.
After the match, the Coffey Brothers jumped Webster, but Mark Andrews and Travis Banks hit the ring to make the save.
Danny Burch vs. Sam Gradwell: The match devolved into a bar-room brawl instantly with the two trading stiff strikes. Gradwell managed a near-fall with a Falcon Arrow, but Burch fired back with a Top-Rope DDT for the pin-fall victory.
In a post-match promo, Burch called out the UK Champion Pete Dunne.
