WWE RAW Coverage: Lesnar Plays Cat and Mouse

The debut of the 24/7 title and a series of solid matches were fun, but in the end, there’s was a significant letdown following Money in the Bank. Essentially a non-hardcore, hardcore title, it remains to be seen how effective the new title will be in increasing ratings on an ailing RAW.

Matches:

Sami Zayn vs. Braun Strowman: A glorified squash as Strowman won with the Running Powerslam.

Cesaro vs. Ricochet: Ricochet put on a show, but Cesaro dominated when it counted and win thanks to a Burning Hammer Backbreaker and the Neutralizer.

Jimmy and Jey Uso vs. The Revival: Scott Dawson and Dash Wilder: Solid back and forth until Dawson stole the match with a Rollup and a handful of tights.

WWE RAW Women’s Champion Becky Lynch, Nikki Cross and Alexa Bliss vs. WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions: The Iconics: Peyton Royce and Billie Kay and Lacey Evans: Lynch took over and beat Kay with the second rope Leg Drop.

24/7 Title Scramble: Titus O’Neil won the scramble, but Robert Roode beat him after the match and ran away.

The Miz vs. Drew McIntyre w/Shane McMahon: Help from McMahon in the end allowed McIntyre to finish off The Miz with the Claymore.

No DQ: Bobby Lashley and Baron Corbin vs. WWE Champion Kofi Kingston and WWE Universal Champion Seth Rollins: Kingston beat Corbin with the Trouble in Paradise. Although Lashley Speared them both after the match, they were able to stand their ground. Lesnar came out after it all, but just taunted.
