The beefy card and set up for Clash of the Champions was effective. This was a more than solid week of RAW action.
Matches:
King of the Ring: Ricochet vs. Drew McIntyre: PPV quality as both competitors beat on each other and nearly stole the match on several occasions. A Reverse Alabama Slam, Glasgow Kiss and a Sit-Out Powerbomb could get McIntyre the win- and Ricochet ended up victorious after the Recoil and 630.
King of the Ring: The Miz vs. Baron Corbin: Miz hit The Skull-Crushing Finale, but Corbin kicked out and won with The End of Days.
Smackdown Women’s Champion Bayley vs. Women’s Tag Team Champion Nikki Cross: Bayley had her work cut out for her as Cross worked on her mid-section, but Bayley won with the Elbow from the Top Rope.
Tag Team Turmoil: Winner Gets Tag Team Title Shot at Clash of the Champions: Dolph Ziggler and Robert Roode vs. Zack Ryder and Curt Hawkins vs. Lucha House Party: Lince Dorado and Gran Metallic vs. The B-Team: Curtis Axel and Bo Dallas vs. The Viking Raiders: Erik and Ivar vs. Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson vs. Heavy Machinery: Otis Dozovic and Tucker Knight vs. The Revival: Dash Wilder and Scott Dawson: The Raiders picked off The B-Team with the Viking Experience, but Gallows and Anderson hit the ring next and both teams ended up getting DQed when they couldn’t stop beating on one-another. Lucha House Party and Roode/Ziggler entered the match next and Ziggler won with the Superkick to make way for The Revival. Ziggler got the win here with a Super Kick and then took out Ryder and Hawkins. That left Heavy Machinery against Ziggler and Roode. Although Dozovic was dominant the tag team work of Roode and Ziggler prevailed as Roode beat Knight with the Glorious DDT.
Sasha Banks vs. Natalya Neidhart: Banks was dominant and got the victory with the Bank Statement.
Cedric Alexander vs. Cesaro: Awesome match that saw Alexander win with the Lumbar Check out of Nowhere,
Braun Strowman vs. United States Champion AJ Styles: Strowman got the win but via DQ after Gallows and Anderson hit the ring. Strowman beat on everyone to end the show.
