WWE RAW Coverage: A Letdown

A weird opener, a lackluster ending between Tyson Fury and Braun Strowman and no resolution between Seth Rollins and Bray Wyatt led to an episode of RAW that was more filler than killer.

Matches:

Rusev vs. Randy Orton: This match never got started as Baron Corbin beat on Rusev. Once Rusev cleared the ring, Lashley went on the Jumbotron and was in bed with Lana. After the segment, Rusev was enraged and beat on both Orton and Corbin.

Last Woman Standing: Lacey Evans vs. Natalya Neidhart: Evans dominated, but Neidhart hit the Snap Suplex on the ramp and then followed it up with a Powerbomb through a table.

WWE RAW Tag Team Champions: Dolph Ziggler and Robert Roode vs. The Viking Raiders: Erik and Ivar: Roode and Zigger nearly won on several occasions, but The Raiders won with The Viking Experience.

Aleister Black vs. Samir and Sunil Singh: A Black Mass and a sexy Dragon Sleeper variation gave Black the submission win.

The O.C.: United States Champion AJ Styles, Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson vs. The Lucha House Party: Kalisto, Lince Dorado and Gran Metalik: The House Party was valiant, but Styles put Kalisto away with the Phenomenal Forearm. After the match, the beating continuers Dorado got hit with the Magic Killer and then a Top Rope Styles Clash.

RAW Women’s Champion Becky Lynch and Smackdown Women’s Champion Charlotte Flair vs. Women’s Tag Team Champions: The Kabuki Warriors: Asuka and Kairi Sane: This match took entirely too long as Asuka hit the Mist on Lynch, which allowed Sane to get the win. After the bell, Flair fought hard, but the Warriors won the numbers game before Nikki Cross and Alexa Bliss made the save.

Ricochet vs. Apollo Crews: Ricochet got the win in the passable encounter.
