AEW Dark Results: The Spanish God Breaks Through

Dark was especially entertaining on Christmas Eve thanks to Colt Cabana making an appearance on commentary, a non-stop Four-Way Tag match, and Joey Janela wrestling as Janelaclause against Shawn Spears. AEW closed out 2019 on a high note.

Matches:

“Spanish God” Sammy Guevara vs. Brandon Cutler: The Spanish God earned his first singles win in AEW with a Torture Rack GTS. 

The Hybrid2: Jack Evans and Angelico vs. Private Party: Isiah Kassidy and Marq Quen vs. Best Friends: Chuck Taylor and Trent vs. Santana and Ortiz:  Santana distracted the ref so Ortiz could take the rest of the field out with the sock bludgeon. They followed up by planting Isiah Kassidy with the Street Sweeper to pick up the victory.

“The Chairman” Shawn Spears w/ Tully Blanchard vs. “The Badboy” Joey Janela: The Badboy scored a clean win over Spears with an Elbow Drop.
