AEW Dynamite Results: The Dark Order Leaves an Impression

As usual, Dynamite was loaded with intense action. Now that the next PPV has been announced, the already hot brand is going nuclear.

Matches:

The Lucha Bros.: Pentagon Jr. and Rey Fenix vs. Kenny Omega and “Hangman” Adam Page: The Lucha Bros scored a massive win thanks to a Package Piledriver Double Foot Stomp that they were able to hit thanks to a Buckshot Lariat that Page accidentally caught Omega with.

The Butcher and The Blade w/ The Bunny vs. Darby Allin and “The American Nightmare” Cody: Cody hit Blade with a Cutter from the top rope he’s calling the Cody Cutter to secure the victory.

Awesome Kong w/ Brandi Rhodes and Melanie Cruise vs. Miranda Alize: Kong hit the Double Underhook Facebuster right off the bat to put Alize away.

The AEW World Champion: Chris Jericho w/ Jake Hager vs. Jungle Boy w/ Marko Stunt and Luchasaurus: Jungle Boy went the full ten, spending the last minute in the Lion Tamer. An incensed Jericho demanded five more minutes, but walked out once Jungle Boy proved he wouldn’t go down quietly.

AEW Women’s World Championship Number One Contender’s Match: Kris Statlander vs. Dr. Britt Baker D.M.D.: Statlander hit an emphatic Big Bang Theory to become the number one contender to Riho’s AEW Women’s World Championship.

AEW World Tag Team Championship Match: The Young Bucks: Nick and Matt Jackson vs. the AEW World Tag Team Champions: SCU: Frankie Kazarian and Scorpio Sky: The two veteran teams went to war for ten minutes until Kaz and Sky managed to hit Matt with SCU Later to retain their titles. After the bell, the lights went out and Dark Order came out and the Creepers beat the two teams down, initiating Josh Reynolds and Alex Silver in the process.
