NXT Coverage: Lee is Limitless

The Finals of the Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic are confirmed and the drama in the Women’s Division is more charged than ever. Add in Keith Lee’s North American Title win and NXT is rolling.

Matches:

Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic Semifinals: NXT Tag Team Champions Undisputed ERA: Bobby Fish and Kyle O’Reilly w/NXT North American Champion Roderick Strong and NXT Champion Adam Cole vs. Grizzled Young Veterans: Zack Gibson and James Drake: Lots of back and forth and TUE looked like they were in control until Imperium showed up and The Grizzled Young Vets got the win on O’Reilly with Ticket To Mayhem.

Io Shirai vs. Toni Storm: Bianca Belair hit the ring to get this thrown out and soon enough NXT Women’s Champion Rhea Ripley evened the odds. In the end however, Toni Storm ended up holding Ripley’s title.

Finn Balor vs. Joaquin Wilde: Balor decimated the former X-Division star with the 1916.

Shayna Baszler vs. Shotzi Blackheart: Shotzi had the crowd in the palm of her hand and delivered a solid performance, but Baszler got the win with the Kurifuda Clutch.

Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic Semifinals: The Broserweights: Matt Riddle and Pete Dunne vs. Imperium: Fabian Aichner and Marcel Barthel w/Alexander Wolfe and NXT Uk Champion Walter: This was a barnburner. Just a ton of offense. Imperium took a beating and kept coming back until a Bro to Sleep/Enziguri combo got Riddle and Dunne the win.

Keith Lee vs. NXT North American Champion Roderick Strong w/NXT Tag Team Champions Bobby Fish and Kyle O’Reilly and NXT Champion Adam Cole: Strong hit Lee with everything, but Lee got rid of The Undisputed Era and picked up the win with the Firean Jackhammer in a wonderful match. After the match, The Era and Imperium battled to end the show.
