A packed card and a wonderful main event made sure that Super Showdown will have some juice and not be the throwaway event it’s been in the past.
Matches:
Lana vs. Liv Morgan: Morgan got the win with the modified Flatliner, but the returning Ruby Riott beat her down after the match.
Drew McIntyre vs. 24/7 Champion Mojo Rawley w/ Riddick Moss: McIntyre got the quick win with the Claymore.
Kevin Owens and The Viking Raiders: Erik and Ivar vs. WWE Tag Team Champion Buddy Murphy and The Authors of Pain: Rezar and Adam: Seth Rollins got involved and that took care of Erik, while a possible injury to Ivar left Owens alone. Despite a valiant effort, AOP got the win with a pair of Spinebusters.
Aleister Black vs. Eric Young: Black got another relatively easy win with the Black Mass.
Rey Mysterio vs. Angel Garza w/ Zelina Vega: Interference from Humberto Carillo got this one thrown out, but it opened up a bevy of interesting possibilities.
WWE Women’s Tag Team Champion Asuka w/Kairi Sane vs. Natalya Neidhart: A highly-contested matchup, but after Asuka escaped the Sharpshooter, help from Sane allowed Asuka to lock in the Guillotine Choke.
WWE RAW Tag Team Champion Seth Rollins vs. Bobby Lashley vs. Ricochet: Interference from AOP and Buddy Murphy helped at first, but Ricochet got the win with the 630. After the match however, Ricochet got destroyed with the F5 from Brock Lesnar.
