AEW Dynamite Results: Bloody Oranges

Dynamite was excellent this week. The debut of FTR, solid matched from top to bottom, and Brian Cage putting Mox through a rear windshield made some entertaining television.

Matches:

The Butcher and the Blade vs. FTR: Dax Hardwood and Cash Wheeler: This was the perfect debut for FTR. They got hit hard and threw it back even harder. Butcher and Blade put up a hell of a fight but a Spike Piledriver gave Hardwood and Wheeler a big win in their debut. After the bell, the Young Bucks decided it was time for their first face-to-face that ended up in a brawl between most of the tag division.

Penelope Ford w/ “Superbad” Kip Sabian and “the Native Beast” Nyla Rose vs. Kris Statlander and the AEW Women’s World Champion: Hikaru Shida: Ford cracked Shida with the strap while the Ref’s back was turned and pinned the Champ with a Bridging Fisherman’s Suplex.

Inner Circle: Santana, Ortiz, and Jake Hager vs. Best Friends: Trent and Chuck Taylor, and “Freshly Squeezed” Orange Cassidy: Santana and Ortiz set Cassidy up for the Street Sweeper but Taylor pushed Santana off of the top turnbuckle. Freshly Squeezed took the chance to roll Ortiz up to score the win. Inner Circle jumped OC and Best Friends after the bell and left Cassidy bleeding with a sack of oranges.

“Spanish God” Sammy Guevara vs. “Boom Boom” Colt Cabana: Guevara scored a huge win by capitalizing on a single mistake from Cabana and rocked him with a GTH. After the match, Dark Order came out and Brodie Lee helped Boom Boom to his feet. Guevara grabbed a stick but was interrupted by Matt Hardy who suggested he leave the Inner Circle.

TNT Championship Open Challenge: Marq Quen vs. the TNT Champion: “The American Nightmare” Cody w/ “the Enforcer” Arn Anderson: Quen put of a serious fight and gave the Champ everything he could handle. Cody was able to capitalize on a high-risk move and pick Quen’s ankle for the submission victory. Inner Circle hit the ring and started a brawl that ended with Hager receiving a shot at the TNT Championship at Fyter Fest.
