RAW Coverage: Three Punts

Keith Lee’s debut aside, this week’s RAW was a stinker, made worse by a flat Underground segment and little storyline beef following SummerSlam.

Matches:

Shayna Baszler vs. WWE Women’s Tag Team Champion and Smackdown Women’s Champion Bayley w/WWE Women’s Tag Team Champion Sasha Banks: Nia Jax eventually got involved to turn this into a DQ win for Baszler. By the end of to though, it appeared they had their sights set on the Tag Champs.

24/7 Champion Shelton Benjamin vs. Cedric Alexander vs. Akira Tozawa vs. R-Truth: Tozawa’s Ninjas appeared and helped him with the match and the title.

RAW Tag Team Champion Montez Ford vs. Angel Garza: Bachelorette contestant Demi Burnett played a role as Ivar hit the ring with a Turkey Leg. You can’t make this up. That distraction allowed Ford to hit the Frog Splash for the win.

Ruby Riott, Liv Morgan and Bianca Belair vs. Zelina Vega and The IIconics: Peyton Royce and Billie Kay: Belair got the win on Vega with the KOD.

Keith Lee vs. Randy Orton: This ended in a DQ as Drew McIntyre got involved. But by later in the show, Orton hit the Champ with another Punt.

RAW Women’s Champion Asuka vs. WWE Women’s Tag Team Champion Sasha Banks w/WWE Women’s Tag Team Champion and Smackdown Women’s Champion Bayley: Asuka ended up with the win to retain her title.

Dominik and Rey Mysterio vs. Seth Rollins and Buddy Murphy: This ended when Retribution hit the ring and destroyed both Dominik and Rey.
