AEW Dynamite Results: On Fire

Dynamite pulled no punches this week with two title matches, the in-ring debut of Miro, and excellent promo work. AEW is on fire and no one knows what will happen next.

Matches:

“Superbad” Kip Sabian w/ Penelope Ford and “The Best Man” Miro vs. “The Concrete Rose” Sonny Kiss and “The Bad Boy” Joey Janela: Miro put his boot to the jaw of Kiss with a Thrust Kick and followed up with a Camel Clutch to secure the submission victory.

“Hangman” Adam Page vs. Evil Uno w/ Dark Order: Uno turned around into a Buckshot Lariat and promptly had his head removed. Page is firmly back in the singles division at 2-0 in the last two weeks.

TNT Championship Match: “Freshly Squeezed” Orange Cassidy vs. The TNT Champion: “The Exalted One” Mr. Brodie Lee: Cassidy took Lee to his limits, and nearly had him on multiple occasions, Freshly Squeezed went to deliver the Orange Punch but John Silver made himself a sacrificial lamb and took the shot for his Exalted One. Lee took the chance to plant Cassidy with a Powerbomb and put him down with the Discus Lariat. After the match, Cody made his return from hiatus since he lost his title to the current champ. 

“La Sicaria” Ivellisse and Diamante vs. The NWA World Women’s Champion Thunder Rosa and The AEW Women’s World Champion: Hikaru Shida: Rosa sent La Sicaria out of the ring to give Shida an opportunity to hit the Tama Shi Running Knee and pin Diamante for the win. 

AEW World Championship Match: Eddie Kingston vs. The AEW World Champion: Jon Moxley: Kingston nearly cracked Mox with the Spinning Backfist, but the cham found a Sleeper Hold he turned into a Bulldog Choke to retain his title. After the bell the Lucha Bros jumped the Champ but found themselves in a brawl with Will Hobbs and Darby Allin. Ricky Starks ran in to neutralize Allin and Dynamite faded to black with the heels standing over their victims.
