About Vonex:

Emerging creative force, VONEX, also known as The Dopest Nobody, is clear about his position in the music industry and the rules for his career. Self-awareness is a foundational requirement for success. Either you define who you are or someone else will do it for you. This revelation is on full display in his new single, “Major League”, which is available on streaming outlets everywhere.

Listen to “Major League” now:

Review Fix: How did you get involved in music?

Vonex: I got involved in music through school, because I was in the band, and the love of music grew from there. I’ve always had a passion for music, just from listening to old school music that my grandparents and different family members played during my childhood.

Review Fix: What’s your creative process like?

Vonex: My creative process literally starts from me hearing or seeing a commercial or movie or by having a simple conversation. That’s where the initial ideal starts. From there is where I create a beat and from there the words start to flow. I never try to force the process.

Review Fix: What inspires you?

Vonex: What inspires me Is that I’m able to wake up everyday and see life for what it is and know that I am still here to be productive. Life itself is inspiring and makes me want to be better and create music that inspires others to be creative.

Review Fix: What does music mean to you?

Vonex: It means everything to me, because music is everything. It’s the soundtrack to everyone’s life, Music is the motor that keeps me motivated.

Review Fix: How would you describe your sound to someone who has never heard you?

Vonex: My music is a combination of emotions, feelings, and life situations delivered in a hip-hopish, R&Bish, Popish kind of way with a new school and old school touch.

Review Fix: What’s the Nashville Hip Hop scene like?

Vonex: We have a broad selection of artists that are very talented, but the scene is overshadowed by country music which is what Nashville is primarily known for in the music industry.

Review Fix: How are your live shows different from your studio work?

Vonex: Studio work to me is the (creative process) even though it is filled with a lot of emotions and requires a performance within a confined area with just myself and maybe an engineer if needed. The live shows, however, are the feelings and energy that I get and feed off of from a crowd like an athlete, whether it’s 10 or 10,000 people watching.

Review Fix: What inspired your latest single, Major League?

Vonex: The inspiration for “Major League” came from the act of leveling up, moving differently and focusing solely on the structure of one’s brand, and in the process peeping hate and dislike for others that don’t want you to be great.

Review Fix: What have you learned about life through your career in music?

Vonex: I have learned that relationships are key, and fake love is a real thing. Being humble, patient, and diligent, will get you more places. Along with having talent and a strong drive to consistently move forward and accomplish the goals that I have set forth for myself. Knowing the business of music and how it works will help as well.

Review Fix: How have you had to adapt this year?

Vonex: I’ve adapted in many ways. For example, doing virtual shows, which was a first, but a great experience for me. It allowed me to show that I can work in any condition or situation that I am placed in. Being able to adapt to changing environments shows that in the long run I’m an artist that is capable of being versatile, understanding and mostly patient.

Review Fix: What are your goals for the rest of 2020?

Vonex: My goals for the rest of 2020 is to get my music streamed in every state, and every country, and to keep building my brand “THE DOPE$T NOBODY”. I plan to put “BEATSTREET ENTERTAINMENT” into a respectable place in the music and entertainment industry.

Review Fix: What’s next?

Vonex: I have the video for “Major League” which will be dropping soon. I have an EP that I am currently working on titled “The Dope$t Nobody” which will drop in 2021. I am also working on a clothing brand for people of all ages. As well as a few more shows once Covid permits.

Review Fix: Anything else you’d like to add?

Vonex: I want to extend my thanks to ReviewFix.com for this opportunity and platform for me to connect with a new audience that may be curious about my work and who I am. I also want to thank my team at “Beatstreet ENT” for making this possible. Also look forward to seeing a lot of Vonex soon #4realDoe.
