Review Fix Exclusive: Kara Frazier Talks ‘Christmas Time Is Here’ And More

Review Fix chats with singer/songwriter Kara Frazier, who discusses her new single, “Christmas Time is Here” and more.

Review Fix: What inspired this track?

Kara Frazier: It’s been a tough year for people, so the inspiration behind this project This track was inspired by the instrumental version of this by neo-soul band, Khruangbin. It’s always been one of my favorite Christmas songs and we wanted to put our own spin on it! 

Review Fix: What do the holidays mean to you?

Frazier: The holidays are a very special time for me and my family! It holds some of the happiest memories I can remember from my childhood. It’s also a time I use to disconnect from social media and reflect on what I’ve accomplished in my personal life and career throughout the year. 

Review Fix: What makes this song a special one?

Frazier: Not only is this a classic Christmas song that many people know and love, but I think our spin on it is really unique and special. 

Review Fix: How do you want this track to be remembered?

Frazier: I want this to be remembered as something that brought people joy at the end of a hard year.

Review Fix: What’s the best gift you’ve ever gotten for the holidays?

Frazier: The best gift I’ve received was my fiancé proposing to me during the holidays last year!

Review Fix: What’s on your musical wish list this holiday season?

Frazier: My wish list is that I can continue creating soulful music with my friends in Nashville to release to my fans.

Review Fix: What’s next?

Frazier: On January 1st, I am releasing my new single “Words” accompanied by a lyric video on January 8th, then my new EP releases on January 29th.
