WWE RAW Coverage: Some LOL Before TLC

With TLC less than two weeks away, RAW did nothing to make the event must see. Mid-card heavy, with lackluster storyline, WWE is ruining the possibility of an AJ Styles/Drew McIntyre main event.

Matches:

WWE RAW Women’s Champion Asuka w/Lana vs. WWE Women’s Tag Team Champion Shayna Baszler w/Nia Jax: Asuka got the win after Lana was able to avoid Nia Jax.

Shane Thorne and Mia Yim vs. Ricochet and Dana Brooke w/Mustafa Ali: Brooke got the quick win in a match that meant nothing. After it was over Ali lost it on both Retribution members.

Shelton Benjamin w/MVP and Cedric Alexander vs. WWE RAW Tag Team Champion Kofi Kingston w/Xavier Woods: Kingston got the hard-fought win with Trouble in Paradise, but afterward, Alexander challenged him to a match.

Cedric Alexander w/MVP and Shelton Benjamin vs. WWE RAW Tag Team Champion Kofi Kingston w/Xavier Woods: Kingston fought hard, but Alexander got the win with The Lumbar Check.

Handicap Match: Sheamus and WWE Champion Drew McIntyre vs. The Miz, John Morrison and AJ Styles w/ Omos: A solid back and forth that ended after Sheamus accidentally nailed McIntyre with the Brogue Kick and left himself wide open to a Phenomenal Forearm from Styles. After the match, Sheamus and McIntyre battled backstage but soon cleared the air.

United States Champion Bobby Lashley w/MVP vs. Jeff Hardy: This was the match of the night as these two pushed each other to the limit. Lashley ultimately got the win, but the possible union of Hardy and Matt Riddle was a cool side effect.

Randy Orton vs. Bray Wyatt: Orton was surprisingly on the defensive, as Wyatt hit the Back Suppler through the announce table. However, after the commercial break, Orton fought back, but it seemed like Wyatt was enjoying the beating. Orton eventually hit the RKO, but the lights went out and The Fiend appeared and choked out Orton to end the show.
