WWE RAW Coverage: Just Awful

When Retribution’s booking is the best thing about an episode of RAW, you know you’re in trouble. The disaster that has become the Randy Orton/Bray Wyatt program and the lack of a WWE Champion on the show in the flesh has turned RAW into an absolute disaster.

The only positive was to see Gillberg healthy again. At this point, RAW feels more like a video game than a fleshed out TV program.

Matches:

WWE RAW Women’s Tag Team Champion Charlotte Flair vs. Peyton Royce: Flair won with the Figure-Eight but Royce held her own.

Xavier Woods vs. Mace w/Mustafa Ali: Mace got the win with a Leg Lariat and a Death Valley Driver variation.

Shayna Baszler w/ Nia Jax vs. Mandy Rose w/ Dana Brooke: Rose was tough, but Baszler won with the Kurifuda Clutch.

Royal Rumble Opportunity on the Line: AJ Styles (w/ Omos) vs. Ricochet: The best match on RAW so far this year as Styles was able to kick out of Ricochet’s best and win with The Styles Clash.

The Hurt Business: United States Champion Bobby Lashley, WWE RAW Tag Team Champions Cedric Alexander and Shelton Benjamin w/MVP vs. Matt Riddle, Lince Dorado and Gran Metalik: Alexander and Benjamin kept bickering and Lashley got pissed and beat Dorado with the Hurt Lock.

Jaxson Ryker w/Elias vs. Jeff Hardy: Elias got involved to give Hardy the DQ win. After it was over Ryker hit Hardy with the Bossman Slam.

Alexa Bliss vs. RAW Women’s Champion Asuka: Bliss made a statement, easily beating Asuka with Sister Abigail.
