AEW Dynamite Coverage: Kenny Omega is Out of His Mind

The drama in The Inner Circle continues and The Good Brothers continue to pay dividends for Kenny Omega. With a few classics in the ring as well this week, this was a special episode of Dynamite.

Matches:

Matt Hardy and Hangman Page vs. The Hybrid Two: Angelico and Jack Evans: Page did most of the work and Hardy scooped in and stole the win. After the match, Hardy seemed happy that Page was a part of his team (per the contract Page signed last week) Page (with a Jacksonville Jaguar mascot) revealed Hardy’s contract was for a match at Revolution and if he wins, he gets Hardy’s first quarter earnings. After that, the mascot, revealed to be Isaiah Cassidy attacked Page, but The Dark Order made the save.

Women’s World Title Eliminator Match: Riho vs. NWA Women’s Champion Serena Deeb: Deep was on her game, but an injured knee slowed her down. Vigilant as always, Riho won with a Rollup and stole your heart like she always does.

Orange Cassidy w/Chuck Taylor vs. Luther w/Serpentico: Pretty much a squash to set up a Tag Team feud as Cassidy won with Orange Punch.

AEW Tag Team Champions: The Young Bucks: Matt and Nick Jackson vs. Santana and Ortiz: Best match of the night as The Good Brothers, MJF and the rest of The Inner Circle were all involved before The Bucks got the win.

Matt and Mike Sydal vs. FTR: Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler w/Tully Blanchard: The Big Rig gave FTR the win but it wasn’t easy. Luchasaurus ended up making the save before FTR could do some haircutting on the Sydals.

Jon Moxley, Rey Fenix and Lance Archer w/Jake Roberts vs. Eddie Kingston, Butcher and Blade w/The Bunny: Another great match on the card, as Kingston was aggressive and nearly beat Moxley, but the DDT gave the former AEW Champion the win. After the match, Kenny Omega hit the ring and got in a few licks and a V-Trigger before dishing out a challenge for Exploding Barbed Wire Death Match to end the show.
