Impact Coverage: Title For Title Results

With drama in every title tournament and AEW’s continued presence, Impact was once again a heck of a lot of fun to watch. From hardcore matches in the mid-card, to the promo work of Sami Callihan, Impact was absolutely well-balanced.

Matches:

Tables Match: Deaner vs. Jake Something: This was a war and one that showed both of these dudes are capable hands in tags and now, singles. Jake won with the Powerslam through a table, but Moose hit the ring and decimated him. Although he wanted a title shot, Scott D’Amore ended up making the TNA Championship a legit title and gave Jake a shot at it later in the night.

Trey Miguel, Josh Alexander and Willie Mack vs. Black Taurus, Chris Bey and Ace Austin: A kick from Austin and Finessa from Bey gave them the win and after the match, Sami Callihan teases Miguel.

XXXL: Larry D and Acey Romero vs. Impact Tag Team Champions: The Good Brothers: Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson: Larry and Romero didn’t lay down, but The Magic Killer got The Good Brothers the victory.

Eddie Edwards vs. Hernandez: A quick, but fun one as Edwards won with The Boston Knee Party.

#1 Contendership for Knockouts Tag Titles: Kimber Lee and Susan w/Impact Knockouts Champion Deonna Purrazzo vs. Jazz and Jordynne Grace: A ton of offense from both sides and although Susan was tough, Grace won with her Signature Driver.

Jake Something vs. TNA World Champion Moose: Moose got the hard-fought win and after the match, Rich Swann got involved and Scott D’Amore made sure to tell the audience that the next time the two fight, it’ll be title for title.
