WWE RAW Coverage: Bliss Continues to Make an Impact

The fallout from Royal Rumble and first turn on the road to Wrestlemania was a flat one, one filled with mediocre matches, squashes and away from Sheamus’ expected turn on Drew McIntyre, was largely mediocre. In order for Wrestlemania 2021 to not be a disaster, something needs to change creatively and fast.

Matches:

United States Champion Bobby Lashley w/MVP vs. Matt Riddle: Lashley got a much faster than expected win over Riddle with The Hurt Lock.

Xavier Woods vs. Mustafa Ali: Kofi Kingston returned and gave Woods the end, who won with a Discus Lariat.

Damian Priest vs. The Miz w/John Morrison: Bad Bunny and Morrison got involved and Priest got the win with The Reckoning.

WWE RAW Tag Team Champions: The Hurt Business: Cedric Alexander and Shelton Benjamin w/MVP vs. The Lucha House Party: Gran Metalik and Lince Dorado: The House Party did everything but win as Metalik and Dorado were dominant for large spells of the match. It wasn’t until a Benjamin blind tag and (ugly) Pay Dirt that the Champions were able to successfully retain.

Winner gets Women’s Tag Team Title Shot: Naomi and Lana vs. Dana Brooke and Mandy Rose vs. RAW Women’s Champion Asuka and Charlotte Flair: Ric Flair and Lacey Evans got involved, which allowed Naomi to win with Rear View.

Carlito and Jeff Hardy vs. Jaxson Ryker and Elias: Hardy won with the Swanton after Carliot hit Elias with the Backstabber.

Nikki Cross vs. Alexa Bliss: Cross was tortured emotionally throughout and Bliss won with her version of Sister Abigail.

Randy Orton vs. Edge: These two beat the crap out of each other before Alexa Bliss got involved, which allowed Edge to win with the Spear.
