WWE RAW Coverage: Lashley Hungry

The Miz appears to be screwed, but if there was a WWE superstar who could escape the wraths of Bobby Lashley. Drew McIntyre and Braun Strowman, it’s him. Away from the WWE Title scene however, there are few bright spots on RAW. Sure, The Hurt Business are great and Damian Priest is a blast to watch, but why is Bad Bunny still in the WWE? Why is Asuka not defending her title? Why is Alexa Bliss still taunting Randy Orton? Why is AJ Styles being wasted?

What is going on with this show?

Matches:

United States Champion Matt Riddle vs. John Morrison: Riddle won with Bro Derek in a hard-fight bout.

The New Day: Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods vs. Retribution: Dio Maddin and Dominik Dijakovic w/Mustafa Ali: Maddin and Dijakovic had this sewn up but got greedy and got rolled up for their trouble.

RAW Tag Team Champions: The Hurt Business: Cedric Alexander and Shelton Benjamin w/MVP vs. The Lucha House Party: Gran Metalik and Lince Dorado: The first real solid matchup of the night. House Party is a force and deserve another shot at the gold. However, after a Running Knee and Pay Dirt, The Champions held on to the gold.

Damian Priest with 24/7 Champion Bad Bunny vs. Angel Garza: Garza seemed more preoccupied with Bunny and Priest won with a Roll of the Dice. After the match, a slew of competitors tried to take the 24/7 Title from Bunny, but he and Priest cleaned house.

WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions: Shayna Baszler and Nia Jax vs. WWE RAW Women’s Champion Asuka and Charlotte Flair: Jax won with the Leg Drop on Asuka. After the match, the rift between Flair and the Champion appeared obvious.

Jeff Hardy vs. Sheamus: A solid match with no real implications as Sheamus won with The Brogue Kick.

Mandy Rose and Dana Brooke vs. Lana and Naomi: This was a joke. A Double Facebuster put Rose away for three.

AJ Styles w/Omos vs. Ricochet: Styles got the win with the Running Knee and Styles Clash. After the match, Omos hit Ricochet with the Choke Bomb.

Braun Strowman vs. Bobby Lashley w/MVP: Lashley kicked out of the Powerslam and then put Strowman away with the Spear. After the match, Lashley put Strowman in The Hurt Lock and then Speared The Miz to end the show.
