WWE RAW Coverage: McIntyre Stands Tall

Continuing to fill out the card for Elimination Chamber, this week’s RAW was far from awful but did little to set the world on fire. Away from Lana’s win over Nia Jax, there were few “moments.”The lack of new matches and not enough captivating promo was what really brought the show down, however, as the in-ring action was as solid as it’s been in weeks.

Matches:

AJ Styles w/ Omos vs. Jeff Hardy: Styles worked on Hardy’s leg throughout and after staving off a Twist of Fate, won with The Calf Crusher.

Dominik Dijakovic and Shane Thorne w/Dio Maddin and Mustafa Ali vs. The New Day: Xavier Woods and Kofi Kingston: Although they were dominated by Dijakovic, Kingston and Woods won with Daybreak.

Charlotte Flair vs. Lacey Evans w/Ric Flair: Charlotte got herself DQed giving Evans the win and a shot against Asuka for the RAW Women’s Women’s Title at Elimination Chamber.

Angel Garza w/The Miz and John Morrison vs. Damian Priest w/Bad Bunny: After Bunny got Miz and Morrison ejected by the ref, Priest got the pitfall on Garza.

Keith Lee vs. Riddle: Lee won with The Spirit Bomb, but Riddle was definitely game. After the match, Lashley hit the ring and Chokeslammed Lee and put him in the Hurt Lock before he beat him on the outside.

Tables Match: Lane w/Naomi vs. WWE Women’s Tag Team Champion Nia Jax w/Shayna Baszler: Lana got the shocking win as she managed to push Jax through a table. After the match, Naomi got the best of Baszler as well. This led to another match.

Naomi vs. WWE Women’s Tag Team Champion Shayna Baszler: After Baszler decided to beat to Lana ringside, Naomi stole the win.

WWE Champion Drew McIntyre vs. Randy Orton: Sheamus got involved twice to get the match thrown out. McIntyre ended up the only one standing by the end of it all.
