The bestselling conspiracy theory thriller The Department of Truth by James Tynion IV (Batman, Something is Killing the Children) and Martin Simmonds (Dying is Easy) moves closer to total sales chart takeover with its second triple sell-out at the distributor and an accelerated order for reprints on issues #1, #4, and #5.Â
The series’ heat reached boiling point last week when The Hollywood Reporter broke the news that The Department of Truth has been picked up by picked up by Sister, best known for producing HBO’s Chernobyl. Tynion will co-write the script for what at this stage is intended to be developed as a series and both he and Simmonds will executive produce.
