WWE RAW Coverage: Slimed

New RAW Tag Team Champions and several solid matchups made this one of the best COVID RAWs in a long time, in spite of a few wacky moments. It seems this writing team cannot get out of their own way.

Matches:

The Miz w/John Morrison vs. Drew McIntyre: McIntyre nailed Mix with the Future Shock DDT and Claymore, but opted to pin the former WWE Champion with the Full Nelson submission to taunt Lashley.

Lana and Naomi vs. Dana Brooke and Mandy Rose: There was drama between Shayna Baszler and Asuka on the outside and Brooke won with a Neckbreaker on Lana.

WWE RAW Tag Team Champions: The Hurt Business: Shelton Benjamin and Cedric Alexander vs. the New Day: Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods: The New Day got the win in a fun one but the real drama was afterward, when AJ Styles and OMos hit the ring and challenged the new Champions to a match at Wrestlemania.

Damian Priest w/Bad Bunny vs. Jaxson Ryker w/Elias: Priest won easily, but Elias got involved and so did The Mix and Morrison.

Braun Strowman vs. Shane McMahon: This never got started as Strowman went on the attack, but McMahon nailed The Monster Among Men with a Camera and then took him out with an Elbow from the Top Rope through the announce table, before he “slimed” him?

WWE RAW Women’s Champion Asuka vs. WWE Women’s Tag Team Champion Shayna Baszler w/Nia Jax: Asuka got the win and beat on Baszler and made sure Jax wasn’t a factor.

United States Champion Riddle vs. Mustafa Ali w/Dominik Dijakovic, Mia Yim, Dio Maddin and Shane Thorne: Riddle powered through the adversity from Retribution and won via Bro Derek.

Sheamus vs. WWE Champion Bobby Lashley w/MVP: Sheamus pushed Lashley to his limit. Lashley rose above it all though and countered the Brogue Kick into the Spear to retain the title. After the bell, Lashley locked in the Hurt Lock on Sheamus before McIntyre nailed Lashley with The Claymore to end the show.
