Review Fix: When and how did this journey start for you?

Ashley Ann: If I’m honest I think it really became a reality to me that I could get paid to do something I like in college. I had been side hustling my design gifts for a few years prior and making a few dollars here and there. When I took my MBA program I had an entrepreneurship course and we had to do a feasibility study, put together financials, projections, etc…. This is when I really realized I could actually build a profitable business from doing events. I literally was getting paid to party. It took me a while to realize that social media was the best way to market my business, but once I got that understanding there was no turning back. I then quickly realized other people didn’t understand how to monetize their social media pages and that I could help people gain happiness and financial security if I shared my system with them. 

Review Fix: What was the day things changed?

Ashley Ann: The first time I helped someone else make money doing something they like to do. I still remember the expression on her face, how shocked and proud of herself she was at the same time, and then her telling me how she could now put her family in a better position. I loved the feeling that it gave me and that made it really easy to continue 

Review Fix: How do you help people make their dreams come true? 

Ashley Ann: I share the personal lessons I’ve learned so they can realize I’m not special, and if I can do it they can do it. They realize quickly I have been where they are now, or was in a worse position. Then I help them figure out what they feel their purpose or skill set  is or if they didn’t have to worry about money what would they do all day. Once we get that settled I help them build out the packaging, price the offer, develop their archetype, put together their digital assets, and build funnels so they can make money automatically. I show them how to gain thousands of real followers consistently and then how to convert followers into buyers. 

Review Fix: What can social media do that other forms of media cannot? 

Ashley Ann: Social media makes it easy for anyone who is willing to be consistent to expand past their geographical area. It allows you to make world wide connections. It also has a low barrier to entry compared to traditional marketing, which keeps many small business owners and side hustlers from success . Social media gives you direct feed back and instant revenue. It also can define you as a resource and an authority. It allows you to leverage your platform and create opportunity and expand your network as well.It also allows you to monetize your personality, community, and thoughts without a camera crew or studio. You literally can reach millions of people from your home using your cell phone. 

Review Fix: What kind of advice do you have for people with a following- actively using various platforms but want to “blow up”? 

Ashley Ann: I would advise them to niche down. Pick 1 or 2 platforms and focus your attention there. Then build your mobile list daily so you have a way to communicate with your audience. Different platforms work in different ways. Also some content that is consumed by one group of users won’t be consumed by another, for example: facebook’s audience is older, they typically want more information, don’t mind reading as much, and prefer structured testimonials. IG’s audience is typically younger. They are visually charged, enjoy creativity, and things that make them laugh or feel warm and fuzzy. They also respond to more authentic testimonials, so screenshots, video clips that aren’t highly curated, etc… 

Review Fix: Why is Colossians 3:15 important to you?  

Ashley Ann: I feel if you are at peace it is easy to be on the right frequency. You have less health issues, you are able to think more freely, you can tap into your power and create whatever it is you want to create. It very challenging to be everything that God calls you to be if you are always in emotional or spiritual dysfunction. It’s difficult to really walk in your purpose when you are consumed with meeting basic needs. Working on your purpose at that point is seen more as a luxury. 

Review Fix: What are you working on now? 

Ashley Ann: Right now I’m working Accelerate 180. It is the most lit business and lifestyle conference in America. We focus on personal development and professional development. We create a space where faith based entrepreneuers can feel safe and share their spiritual practices they incorporate into their business. I’m also always working on trying to help as many people as possible gain financial freedom doing things they love to do. I understand if more people can wake up happy and fulfilled that it will have a chain reaction and they can share that good energy and positively with others.

Ashley Ann: Hopefully I will be able to finish out an app in the next 18 months that will assist us in staying motivated, connecting good people so the feel supported, and assisting people in making money, retaining money, and growing money

Ashley Ann: Whatever we tell ourself is possible. You are not the negative and nasty things people have said about you. You are allowed to learn from your life and grow as a person. You can tap into the power that God gave you and create whatever life you want to live.
