While the card wasn’t as deep as it has been in week’s past, it didn’t have to be. The development of the mid-card and the rest of the matches for Slammiversary, as well as more Sami Callihan and Kenny Omega drama fueled (which continued after Callihan Powerbombed Omega through a table this week) a solid show.
Matches:
Brian Myers w/Sam Beale vs. Jake Something: Myers put over Something, who worked hard and won with he Jumping Black Hole Slam variation. After the bell, Myers and Beale went on the attack, but the returning Matt Cardona evened the odds.
Impact Knockout Champion Deonna Purrazzo vs. Lady Frost: Purrazzo got the win with the Arm Bar in an impressive debut for the indie star, but after it all, Purrazzo got work from Gail Kim that she’ll have a mystery opponent at Slammiversary.
W. Morrissey vs. Jason Page, Manny Smith and Deontae Evans: Morrissey got the easy win with the Powerbomb and then accepted Eddie Edwards’ challenge for Slammiversary.
Impact Knockouts Tag Tam Titles No. 1 Contender’s Match: Susan and Kimber Lee vs. Rosemary and Havok: Rosemary hit the big assisted Spear on Susan to get the team a shot at Fire & Flava.
Karl Anderson vs. Rich Swann vs. TJP vs. Deaner: In a match with one half of all the tag teams in the Tag Team title match at Slammiversary, Anderson with with the Gun Stun.

Hickey is also the lead voiceover performer on Mega Cat Studios’ upcoming title WrestleQuest, responsible for nearly 90 characters in the game, as well as Skybound's Renfield: Bring Your Own Blood, where he voices both Dracula and Renfield, as well as several other characters. He also stars in Ziggurat Interactive’s World Championship Boxing Manager 2, where he performs the VO of nearly every male character in the game. He also worked on the Atari VCS’s BPM Boy.
