We all know that Rob Liefeld and Fabian Nicieza created the character of Deadpool in that memorable issue of New Mutants, however, he had really only just begun. The character would see two mini-series following his stint in New Mutants and X-Force. In 1997, Joe Kelly would begin writing a regular ongoing Deadpool series and did so for 33 issues. He introduced possibly the most iconic aspect of Deadpool fans recognize today. He broke the fourth wall with readers for the first time in Issue # 28 of his prolific run on the merc with the mouth.
