AEW Dynamite Coverage: MJF Demands Your Attention

The arrival of Athena Palmer and Hiroshi Tanahashi and some awesome in-ring work set the scene for a magical AEW Dynamite that MJF stole all the star power from thanks to one of his best promos ever.

AEW World Heavyweight Champion CM Punk and ROH World Tag Team Champions FTR: Cash Wheeler and Dax Harwood vs. Max Caster w/Anthony Bowens and The Gunn Club: Colton and Austin Gunn w/Billy Gunn: A fun opener that got the crowd going. Punk hit Austin with the GTS before FTR put him away with Big Rig. After the match, Hiroshi Tanahashi debuted to reveal himself as Punk’s opponent at Forbidden Door.

Johnny Elite vs. Miro: The returning Miro got the hard-fought but dominant win with The Accolade.

AEW World Tag Team Champions Jungle Boy and Luchasaurus, Darby Allin, Christian Cage and Matt Hardy vs. The Young Bucks: Matt and Nick Jackson, RedDragon: Bobby Fish and Kyle O’Reilly and Hikuleo: The Meltzer Driver put Jungle Boy away in a fun one.

Wardlow vs. JD Drake: Wardlow dominated and won with a Powerbomb and then took out security once again.

Ruby Soho and Toni Storm vs. Dr. Britt Baker DMD and Jamie Hayter w/Rebel: Soho won with Destination Unknown but after it all, Hayter used Baker’s new belt to take out the winner.

Jon Moxley vs. Daniel Garcia:Garcia was awesome, but Moxley won with the Double Arm DDT variation and the Bully Choke.
