Another week of the Triple H regime resulted in great in-ring action and plenty of teases for Extreme Rules and Crown Jewel.
Matches:
United States Champion Bobby Lashley vs. Seth Rollins: Lashley kicked out of a Frog Splash, Buckle Bomb and a Pedigree in a fun opener. If it wasn’t for “interference” from Riddle, Lashley wouldn’t have been able to hit a Spear for the win.
Austin Theory vs. Kevin Owens: Another great match with plenty of back and forth. Owens went for the Springboard Moonsault and Theory hit a Standing Blockbuster before Johnny Gargano stole the Money in the Bank Briefcase and Kevin Owens hit the Super Kick, then. Cannonball and finally the Pop-Up Powerbomb for the win.
The Brawling Brutes: Ridge Holland and Pete Dunne vs. The Street Profits: Montez Ford and Angelo Dawkins: The Brutes got the win with Low Kick Powerslam variation in a match that ran too long, but continued to prove The Brutes are ready for a shot at the Unified Titles.
Finn Balor and Damian Priest w/Dominik Mysterio and Rhea Ripley vs. Matt Riddle and Rey Mysterio: Ripley and Dom played a factor- as did Seth Rollins as Priest was able to hit a Chokeslam before Balor beat Mysterio with a Coup De Grace.
Alexa Bliss w/WWE RAW Women’s Champion Bianca Belair and Asuka vs. Bayley w/WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions Iyo Sky and Dakota Kai: Lots of offense in this grudge match that saw Bayley play defense for most of the encounter. Bayley fought back and hit the Bayley to Belly, but Bliss kicked out. However, after interference from Kai and Sky, Bayley hit a Play of the Day variation for the win. Belair tried to clean house after but Damage Control put her down for good.
