RAW is preparing for Crown Jewel and the season premiere developed a few solid moments, but it was far from the game-changer it could have been.
Matches:
Falls Count Anywhere: Shinsuke Nakamura vs. Ricochet: This was a war that proved The King of Strong Style still has momentum on RAW. After he put Ricochet through a table, he got the win with Kinshasa.
WWE Women’s Tag Team Champion Piper Niven w/Chelsea Green vs. Natalya Neidhart: Niven got the win, but Tegan Nox made the save to save Nattie from a post-match beatdown.
Johnny Gargano vs. Ludvig Kaiser: Giovanni Vinci helped Kaiser get the win with his Square Hammer DDT as Gargano was without his DIY partner.
WWE Women’s World Champion Rhea Ripley vs. Shayna Baszler: Zoey Stark and the rest of the Women’s Division got involved to throw this one out and give Mamii the win via DQ.
Intercontinental Champion Gunther vs. Bronson Reed: This was a war the show needed. Gunther won with a Powerbomb, but Reed hung in there and nearly won a few times.
WWE Undisputed Tag Team Champions Cody Rhodes and Jey Uso vs. Judgement Day: Finn Balor and Damian Priest w/Dominik Mysterio: Jimmy Uso paid a visit to RAW and helped Judgment Day reclaim the Unified Tag Team Titles.
