WWE RAW Coverage: Mahal Gets Stomped Out

RAW has a new set and a slew of people capable of winning the Royal Rumble. Because of that, this week’s show was awesome.

Matches:

JD McDonagh and Dominik Mysterio vs. DIY: Johnny Gargano and Tommaso Ciampa: DIY scored the win in a match that gives DIY much needed momentum before a potential Tag Team title opportunity.

Candice LeRae and Indi Hartwell vs. Chelsea Green and Piper Niven: LeRae won with a Lionsault? That was fun- even if the match was short.

Ludvig Kaiser vs. Xavier Woods: Kaiser got the win after Woods for DQed for using a chair. The importance here was Gunther’s return and Royal Rumble intentions.

Ivar w/Valhalla vs. Akira Tozawa w/Maxxine Dupri: Tozawa scored the win with a Code Red following some help from Dupri. After the match though, Valhalla took her out.

WWE Undisputed Tag Team Champions Finn Balor and Damian Priest vs. The Miz and R-Truth: Truth is mixed up and couldn’t protect his tag team partner, allowing Balor and Priest to win.

Tegan Nox and Natalya vs. Shayna Baszler and Zoey Stark: The Queen of Spades tapped out Natalya with the Kurifuda Clutch

WWE World Champion Seth Rollins vs. Jinder Mahal w/Veer and Sanga: Mahal almost won several times and Damian Priest teased a briefcase cash-in, but Rollins won with The Stomp.
