WWE RAW Coverage: Seth and Cody Trying to Make the Most of It

Talk about a pivot. Following Vince McMahon’s departure, Brock Lesnar’s apparent ouster, CM Punk’s injury and Cody Rhodes’ interesting decision to give The Rock his title match with Roman Reigns for Mania 40, RAW is a much different place than it was just two weeks ago.

It’s too early to tell if it’s eventually going to get better, but as of right now, RAW is completely in flux.

Matches:

Fatal Four-Way Tag Team Championship Quailifier Match: The New Day: Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods vs. The Creed Brothers: Julius and Brutus vs. IMPERIUM: Ludvig Kaiser and Giovanni Vinci vs. DYI: Johnny Gargano and Tommaso Ciampa: A ton of action as DIY punched their ticket after they got the fall on Vinci.

Elimination Chamber Qualifying Match: Shayna Baszler vs. Becky Lynch: Baszler was tough but Lynch won with the Manhandle Slam.

The Alpha Academy: Akira Tozawa and Maxxine Dupri vs. The Viking Raiders: Ivar and Valhalla: A sexy Top rope Front Powerslam gave Ivar the win.

The Miz vs. JD McDonagh w/Dominik Mysterio: R-Truth got involved and made a hilarious mess of this, allowing Miz to get the win with the Skull-Crushing Finale.

WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions The Kabuki Warriors: Kairi Sane and Asuka vs. Katana Chance and Kayden Carter: Carter and Chance put up a fight but an InSane Elbow got the Warriors the win.

Bull Rope Match: Cody Rhodes vs. Shinsuke Nakamura: Rhodes got the win in spite of getting The Mist. Drew McIntyre destroyed him after the bell to end the show.
