After the first verse of The Beatroot Road’s Milte Hi Ankhen, you think you’ve got them pegged.
Nope. Not even close.
What initially sounds like an Indian pop track changes dramatically, as reggae, jazz and countless other musical elements find their way in, making this a track that’s almost impossible to describe.
In the best way possible.
The combination of Sharan Kaur, with added vocals from Jamaican singer and rapper Sledge with the composition of Mark Russell and Hazel Fairbairn behind it- is a feast for the ears.
Referred to as “An ambitious multi-genre collective,” this track has excellent bass and drum work in it as well, each layer a colorful and sexy addition to a track that will grow on you with multiple listens.
Simply put, the amount of sounds here is intense. But the payoff is awesome. This is an adventure in sound. Do it.

He has also done narration and trailers for several other titles including The Kaiju Offensive, Relentless Rex and Roniu’s Tale.
Hickey is also the lead voiceover performer on Mega Cat Studios’ upcoming title WrestleQuest, responsible for nearly 90 characters in the game, as well as Skybound's Renfield: Bring Your Own Blood, where he voices both Dracula and Renfield, as well as several other characters. He also stars in Ziggurat Interactive’s World Championship Boxing Manager 2, where he performs the VO of nearly every male character in the game. He also worked on the Atari VCS’s BPM Boy.
