AEW Dynamite Coverage: A Grand Slam in Mexico

MJF vs. Mistico and a slew of other high-profile encounters highlighted a special episode of Dynamite.

AEW TNT Champion Adam Cole, Atlantis, Atlantis, Jr., Bandido, Brody King, Daniel Garcia, and Templario vs. Dax Harwood, Don Callis Family: Hechicero, Josh Alexander, Konosuke Takeshita, Kyle Fletcher and Lance Archer and Volador, Jr.: A fun opener with a TON of offense. Ironically Atlantis won with an Inside Cradle on Harwood.

AEW Continental Champion Kazuchika Okada w/Don Callis vs. Mark Briscoe: Okada won with The Rainmaker and after the match, he and Callis beat on Briscoe.

Maxwell Jacob Friedman vs. Mistico: Friedman got DQed and then ripped off Mistico’s mask.

4 Million Peso Match: Hologram vs. Lio Rush vs. Mascara Dorada vs. Ricochet: Match of the night. Hologram won with an awesome Powerbomb variation.

Mercedes Mone vs. CMLL Women’s World Championship Zeuxis: Another solid one that saw Mone win the title after a Crossbody following a series of counters.

Beast Mortos and The Death Riders: Jon Moxley and Wheeler YUTA and The Young Bucks: Matthew and Nicholas Jackson vs. Shane “Swerve” Strickland and AEW Trios Champions The Opps: Katsuyori Shibata, Samoa Joe, and “Powerhouse” Will Hobbs and Will Ospreay: Moxley needed a handful of tights to secure the win. After the match, Hangman Page got some licks on The Death Riders.
