WWE RAW Coverage: Breakker Comes Up Short

Awful Stranger Things collab aside (What purpose did this serve?) two title changes and Liv Morgan’s return to the ring made for a fun episode of RAW this week.

Matches:

WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions Kabuki Warriors: Asuka and Kairi Sane vs. Iyo Sky and Rhea Ripley: This was a fun opener as a Riptide and Moonsault gave the challengers the title.

Becky Lynch vs. WWE Women’s Intercontinental Champion Maxxine Dupri: Lynch put her legs on the ropes to secure the win and take the title back.

Liv Morgan w/Roxanne Perez vs. Lyra Valkyria w/Bayley: Valkyria focused way too much on Bayley and Rox on the outside, which allowed Morgan to win with Absolution.

Bron Breakker w/Paul Heyman vs. WWE World Champion CM Punk: Back and forth, add in a ref bump and a Stomp from Austin Theory and Punk was barely hanging on. Just when you thought The Vision was taking over, Penta, Dragon Lee and Rey Mysterio evened the odds. Breakker then missed a Spear, but he kicked out of the GTS. Breakker then kicked out of a Piledriver and after he went for another GTS, Breakker reversed into a Fujiwara Arm Bar, that Punk barely escaped out of. Punk then locked in the Anaconda Vice, but Breakker escaped it and git another Fireman’s Gutbuster and a Clothesline but Punk kicked out. Punk locked in The Vice again, but Heyman got involved. However, Breakker missed The Spear and the action spilled to the outside. Breakker then hit a Top Rope Elbow Drop on Punk, who was on the announce table. With the action back in the ring, Punk then countered the Spear with a knee and won with the GTS.
