Review Fix Exclusive: Lukaijah Talks “Lion Tribe”

Review Fix chats with singer/songwriter Lukaijah who discusses their new single “Lion Tribe.”

About Lukaijah:

A departure from previous projects, Lukaijah’s newest tracks focuses on self-empowerment and the act of healing through music. Raised in the eclectic San Francisco, he was enveloped in rich experiences and a myriad of musical influences as he picked up everything from piano composition to poetry. That learning eventually led him to the world of hip hop, where he used his unique background to craft compelling, lyrically interesting tracks. Now, he’s combined his love of hip hop, poetic muse, and a desire to inspire others into an unforgettable musical project set to be released in December of 2021.

On the new single, “Lion Tribe,” Lukaijah calls people forth to stand with courage and integrity in their Truth. A somber piano chord progression (played by Lukaijah himself) billows into a synthy chorus, bolstering the emotional impact of the poetic lyrics. In musings filled with deep meditation and internal reflection, he says, “Fearless in the face of all these lies (Yeah we) Spirit of a Lion Tribe.”  The inspirational track encourages us all to believe in the strength of our power and demand better for the world we live in. Check out Lukaijah’s newest single, “Lion’s Tribe,” out on October 20th, 2021, with a full album to follow.

Review Fix: This single almost feels like a different artist. What prompted the style shift?

Lukaijah: This is the first track I have produced since getting married and becoming a father, which catalyzed a growth and maturing in my psyche and Being.

My previous inner aggression and fire has been refined and alchemized into a new level of calm strength and serenity from which I live my life. Therefore, my music and frequency carry the same empowered potency, yet is softened through a melodious levity that comes from the blessing of family and deeply knowing myself. Also, creating this track in 432Hz inspired me to decide all my music will now be produced in 432 Hz for better energetic alignment.

Review Fix: At the same time, there’s absolutely elements of your previous work. How hard was it to mix it all together?

Lukaijah: The process of integrating these elements into this song was quite natural and fluid. Much of it came from entering into a creative flow state and improvising, such as the melodies in the piano solo, to the flute riff and the vocal chorus. Yet, while the song and musical style came together quite effortlessly from simply getting into the zone and having fun, the real work was the inner work I did to become more of my true self the months prior.

This deeper work is the process of psychological maturation, integral healing and soul embodiment which is a core element and message in my music.

Review Fix: What does Lion Tribe mean to you?

Lukaijah: Lion Tribe describes a group of people around the planet who are unique in that they are not susceptible to the collective brainwashing and indoctrination designed to disconnect people from their inner guidance and intuition. These are people who have cultivated a strong relationship to their true selves and their Source, allowing them to live in a way that does not sacrifice their sovereignty or inner authority to external beings. Being intelligent, critically minded and heart centered people, they live from compassion and love, yet hold strong boundaries to live a life of freedom and service.

Some may ask, How do you know if you are in the Lion Tribe?

That answer is – You just know.

Review Fix: Who must listen to this song?

Lukaijah: Anyone who is called to greater leadership, with the purpose of elevating human consciousness.

Anyone who is willing to see through illusion and stand for truth, love, and freedom. Anyone who is ready to Rise into their full potential and embodiment.

Review Fix: What are your goals for this single?

Lukaijah: In the face of collective confusion and separation, to inspire in people the courage to look deep within, listen to their inner Truth and live from that place.

In the face of collective weight and challenge, to spark the indwelling passion and enthusiasm to live our fullest life.

In the face of collective apathy and fear of standing out, to inspire a distinctive type of leadership that emerges from the heart.

Review Fix: What’s your favorite part of this song?

Lukaijah: I always enjoy how at the end of my first verse when I say, ‘lean back on your Holy Throne,’ it drops into my improvised piano solo with orchestral elements, allowing me to respond in melodic transmission through my fingers.

Review Fix: How do you want this single to be remembered?

Lukaijah: May this song be remembered as a sonic snapshot of the Spirit of a Lion Tribe – a group of Souls who are courageous enough to live a bold life of service, freedom, and inspiration in the face of madness, suppression, and censorship.

Review Fix: What’s next? Anything else you’d like to add?

Lukaijah: While my first album will contain many songs with beats from other producers, I am inspired to produce more songs such as ‘Lion Tribe,’ where I create every element of the production and vocals with my own spontaneous creativity. For my second album which I will produce in 2022, I shall incorporate more of my signature piano solos, compositions, and evolutionary lyrics to establish my distinctive musical fusion. For those that want to explore more than just my music, I will be working on a media offering that integrates 432 Hz music, wisdom teachings and mystic arts training.
