There’s a new NXT North American Champion, the Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic is underway and Tiffany Stratton is on the farm- NXT was pretty fun this week.
Matches:
Blair Davenport vs. Nikkita Lyons: The fans were happy to see the return of Lyons, but Davenport won (as she should have) with Kamigoye.
Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic First Round Match: Baron Corbin and Bron Breakker vs. Gallus: Mark Coffey and Wolfgang: Corbin won with End of Days, but Breakker kicked some serious rump too.
Josh Briggs vs. Oro Mensah w/Meta-Four: Briggs won with a nasty Lariat. They are building him as Stan Hansen-type badass.
D’Angelo Family: Channing “Stacks” Lorenzo and Tony D’Angelo w/Adrianna Rizzo vs. Out the Mud: Bronco Nima and Lucien Price w/SCRYPTS: OTM hung in there, but D’Angelo got the win with the Fisherman Buster.
Cora Jade vs. Gigi Dolin: Jade won with the Butterfly DDT. This isn’t over.
Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic First Round Match: Axiom and Nathan Frazer vs. Hank Walker and Tank Ledger: Axiom and Frazer went over as expected after a 450 from Frazer.
North American Champion Dragon Lee vs. Lexis King: Probably the best King has looked so far, but Lee was dominant and won with Destino. However Oba Femi cashed in his contract and won the title to end the show.
