Beavis and Butthead Coverage: Crashing and Laughing

It’s another hour long special of everyone’s favorite turd wipes, Beavis and Butthead.

First up is “Used Car.” After finding a slice of pizza in a trash can and throwing it under a car in a used car lot, the boys find themselves being talked into buying a used car. It’s the return of Hamid from the “Tech Support” episode and it involves the test driving of a car and B&B. The last thing you want Butthead to do is get behind the wheel of the car because, well, look at how many times he’s crashed the damn thing over the years. Obviously he crashes the car. Despite that, all in all, it was a pretty funny episode just to see Butthead crash again.

“Bounty Hunters” has B&B seeing a guy who looks like Dog the Bounty Hunter shopping with a woman who looks like Beth in a hardware store. They decide they should become bounty hunters themselves. Beavis and Butthead going to the post office and seeing a picture of President Obama and think he’s a criminal ,while the wanted posters are right next to it, is pretty funny. Also, they look good in bounty hunter gear. They then proceed to get their asses kicked by a karate teacher thinking his class of kids are a bunch of gang members. It’s always funny seeing them getting their asses kicked. It’s an art form only Judge can do. Another good episode.

“Time Machine” has B&B going on another class trip to a recreation of an 1832 homesteading community. Of course, they were asleep during the bus trip and one of the actors in the community makes B&B think they traveled back in time. It needs to be said: that woman churning butter and B&B giving their usual reaction is funny no matter how many  times you watch it. A decent episode that shows B&B thinking they’re changing history by making Van Driessen get into an argument with this actress he’s trying to hook up with.

In “Massage,” they go to the mall and oggle at all the female stores and items. They see a massage chair area and two girls getting a massage. They spend the entire episode looking at women getting massages and scaring them away and then turn themselves into “massagers” by making a massage chair out of random items. Not that good of an episode and not very funny.

One of the funniest skits this week was the Real Life: I Have Embarrassing Parents. A mom who dresses slutier than her daughter? Pure enjoyment from the guys and laughs of laughs from us. Of course the Jersey Shore skits just goes the show that Beavis and Butthead make this show more bearable.

Despite one bad episode this week, the show was well worth the one hour waste of time. Overall, there needs to be more episodes of Butthead driving just to see the crash.
