TNA Impact Wrestling Power Rankings: The Gang on Top

It was a wild and crazy week on Impact Wrestling, with the Aces and Eights gang decimating TNA’s World heavyweight Champion Austin Aries. However, several Impact wrestling stars made their presence felt, winning big matches and cementing their spots in the Bound for Glory Series.

Here’s our rundown on who’s really  in the driver’s seat in TNA.

5: Hulk Hogan: Taking out three or four members of the Aces and Eights gang with a bat, Hogan made his return to Impact a big one. With the heel group continuing to take control of the company, what will Hogan’s role in the situation be? Does he have it in him to step up physically in this altercation? Or will he continue his role as Impact general manager?

4: Robbie E.: A huge win over Ron Van Dam and AJ Styles; probably the biggest win of his career. This week he definitely had something to pump his fist about. He’s still in the bottom of the barrel as far as the BFG standings go, but it was still a memorable win for the mid-card heel.

3: Jeff Hardy: It wasn’t a big win over the bulky Rob Terry, but it continues his push as one of the big stars in the company and keeps him in World Title contention. While he’s another guy that’s out of the BFG mix, it doesn’t mean much. He’ll get another shot eventually. Will it be sooner, or later?

2: AJ Styles: The end of the Claire Lynch saga can only mean good things for his career in spite of a loss to Robbie E in a three-way match on Impact this week. He’s still in the Bound for Glory series mix and with a few big weeks, he could find himself in an angle with Austin Aries. Who wouldn’t want to see that?

1: The Aces and Eights: How many members of this gang are there? Eight of them were taken out before the last segment. The introduction to the show only showed six or seven bikers, so the deception games are working in their favor. Can they lead a successful rebellion over TNA?
