TNA Power Rankings: Main Event MMAfia?

A cool card highlighted an entertaining Hardcore Justice event this week on Impact, but weak promo and skeletal storyline almost ruined the destructive fun.

Check out our weekly Impact Wrestling Power Rankings to see who was got a few drinks spilled on them/bought for them after the show.

5: ODB: A TKO on a chair earned ODB a win at Hardcore Justice over Gail Kim and Knockouts Champion, Mickie James. Easily the biggest win of her career, it’ll be interesting to see where TNA’s favorite buxom “bitch” goes from here.

4: Frank Kazarian/Bobby Roode/Christopher Daniels: Even though they needed help to earn their victories, the 40 points they got this week put right in the middle of the Bound for Glory Series. Easily one of the best workers in the company, Kazarian’s allegiance with Daniels and Roode could spell big things for him, while Roode gets himself back in the title picture and Daniels remains pertinent. With Chris Sabin’s run as World Champion, why couldn’t Kazarian or Daniels hold that title one day?

3: Main Event Mafia: Aside from Rampage Jackson’s terrible promo work this week, MEM made it out of Hardcore Justice in one piece. Things could have been much worse. With Kurt Angle out, the MEM first looked to Austin Aries before settling on Tito Ortiz to join their battle against the Aces and Eights. After Ortiz turned on amperage later in the show, it’ll be interesting to see where the faction goes from here.

2: The Aces and Eights: Bully Ray continues to cut solid promo and even the rest of the team, led by Mr. Anderson are still entertaining. However, the way the storylines have been built, the group hasn’t had nearly as many memorable moments as of late. Regardless, after Bully Ray won the TNA title back and the 10-man tag match next week on Impact, the club should deliver in one way or another.

1: Bully Ray: The president of the Aces and Eights beat on Chris Sabin for a half hour and eventually, with the help of Ortiz, won his title back. Where does the club go from here? What happens to Sabin? Does he get a rematch?Either way, TNA’s best heel has his title back.
