WWE RAW Power Rankings: Battle Lines Drawn

With a slew of filler matches and little to no real drama, this week’s RAW did nothing to entice a buy of the company’s upcoming Pay Per View, Battleground. Regardless, there were still a few WWE Superstars who made their presence felt.

Check out our weekly RAW Power Rankings to see who has the most to lose this weekend at Battleground.

5: The Wyatt Family: “Follow the Buzzards” Bray Wyatt proclaimed again this week, but they didn’t destroy anyone. Instead, they set the scene for a feud with Kofi Kingston. How does this help either of them? While Kingston is a huge fan favorite, he lacks the ability to make the Wyatt Family more credible to fans. While the matches between Wyatt and Kingston would be great, most fans could care less what happens in the ring.

4: The Shield: Their match with Cody Rhodes and Goldust at Battleground does nothing for them. Regardless, their decimation of Dusty Rhodes and his sons this week on RAW is a great way to get some heat. This trio is one of the best things going in the WWE today.

3: CM Punk: “The Best in the World” proclaimed he’d put Paul Heyman out of his misery at Battleground, but RAW GM Brad Maddox wanted him to jump through a flaming hoop by the name of Big E. Langston. Although the young Langston mounted a nice amount of offense, Punk ultimately picked up Langston and easily delivered the GTS. With momentum on his side and the need to finish off Heyman and Ryback, Punk looks to get back in the WWE title picture with a win at Battleground.

2: Randy Orton: Another confrontation with Brie Bella and some good promo work with Bryan at the end of the show cement what looks to be the only must-see encounter at Battleground. Orton’s such a good heel and he makes it so easy to hate him.

1:Daniel Bryan: You can’t blame Bryan for not getting booked on RAW this week. His absence from in-ring action was the main reason the show was such a bore. With John Cena on the shelf, Bryan is without a doubt the most dynamic performer in the WWE.
