“I just want you all to know that when this is all over, it’s all your faultâ€- WWE COO Triple H, to the fans, on forcing him to fight Daniel Bryan at Wrestlemania XXX.
Just when you think the Wrestlemania XXX Main Event was boring, Triple H threw in a monkey wrench that certainly spices things up. With the winner of the Triple H/Daniel Bryan match joining the WWE title match between Randy Orton and Batista, the possibilities are there for a damn good match.
With the addition of Mr. T to the celebrity wing of the WWE Hall of Fame, even the night before Wrestlemania is shaping up nicely.
While the absence of CM Punk and no news of the possible additions of Sting or Stone Cold, Wrestlemania is still missing a few pieces, but this week’s RAW had enough solid wrestling (despite a crappy, filler-filled final hour in the ring) and storyline development to ensure that things continue to move in an entertaining direction.

WWE Tag Team Champions: Jimmy and Jey Uso vs. Jack Swagger and Antonio Cesaro w/Zeb Colter: Cesaro naturally put on a show of strength with a beautiful Tilt-a-Whirl Backbreaker, while Swagger kept the pressure on with a Headlock submission. Unable to keep the advantage, Jey tagged in Jimmy, who hit a slew of moves including a Moonsault. Swagger bounced back nicely with a Big Boot that sent Jey to the outside and evened things up. The Usos got back in the math thanks to their signature attacks and a nice Samoan Drop double team maneuver. After a double Super Kick on Swagger, Cesaro nailed Jey with a wonderful Jumping European Uppercut on Jey, who attempted a Suicide Dive. A Neutralizer later and The Real Americans had a win over the Tag Team Champs.
St. Paddy’s Day Showdown: Sheamus w/Hornswoggle vs. Titus O’Neill: The match was pretty even until O’Neill picked on Hornswoggle. Some signature offense and a Brogue Kick later and Sheamus got the win. After the match, Sheamus announced his participation in the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal. Christian, ringside for the match, then took out some steam on the Great White.
No DQ: WWE World Heavyweight Champion Randy Orton vs. Daniel Bryan: A quality back and forth encounter, that saw Orton use a kendo stick to gain an early advantage. After a Belly-to-Back Suplex on the announce table, Orton stayed in control, but Bryan, thanks to the stick and a slew of kicks, got right back in the thick of things. Orton battled back with a beautiful Superplex, but couldn’t get the pin. Orton then added his signature DDT and then primed the crowd for the RKO, but Bryan was smart enough to roll to the outside and grab the Kendo stick. On the assault, Bryan used the stick a few times and hit Orton with the Front Dropkick to send him into the Time Keeper’s area. Fighting back with a Jaw Breaker, Orton used a Steel Chair a few times. With Bryan down, Orton looked ready to capitalize, but Batista joined the match and hit Orton with a Spear. With Batista’s back turned, Bryan hit Batista with the Running Knee and then covered Orton for the win. After the bell, Batista added insult to injury, nailing the WWE Champion with the Batista Bomb.
Fandango w/Summer Rae vs. Goldust w/Cody Rhodes: A fun encounter between two eccentric individuals. After Fandango missed the Top Rope Leg Drop, Goldust hit his Neckbreaker variation for the win.
WWE Divas Champion AJ Lee and Tamina Snuka vs. Naomi and Cameron: A mess of match that saw Naomi counter the Black Window and hit the Split-Legged Moonsault for the win.
Eight-Man Tag: Big Show, Mark Henry, Big E. Langston and Dolph Ziggler vs. Curtis Axel, Ryback, Alberto Del Rio and Damien Sandow: A time killer, but a decent one. All eight superstars went through their signature offense and after everyone jumped in and hit their signature moves, Show nailed Sandow with the Chokeslam for the win.
Bray Wyatt w/Luke Harper and Erick Rowan vs. Kofi Kingston: Wyatt decimated the former Intercontinental Champion in a clear statement match. Although Kingston mounted some offense, Wyatt finished him off with the Sister Abigail.
