Thoughts on a New Evolution Member

All boy bands have five members; most of the great wrestling stables had at least four. During its first run, Evolution consisted of four members, two establish legends in HHH and Ric Flair and two hungry young stars in Randy Orton and Batista, but this time around, it’s a three lion show with Flair long retired. While an extra member isn’t particularly needed this time around, especially considering the group’s current feud with The Shield, it would be cool if the group could not only help put over Roman Reigns, Dean Ambrose and Seth Rollins, but establish another young heel.

Here are our thoughts on who could be the missing piece for the group and help them regain the dominance they had a decade ago.

Dolph Ziggler: He’s easily one of the best workers in the company and the fans love him. A heel turn wouldn’t be a big surprise, but it would be something the Universe would eat up. From his look and swagger to his move set, Ziggler would be a perfect fit.

Antonio Cesaro: He just made serious waves teaming with Paul Heyman. Now imagine what being on the same side as Orton, Batista and Triple H could do for his career? A workhorse in the ring, Cesaro is one good push away from being a WWE Champion. Aligning himself with three if the most successful WWE superstars in the last decade sounds like a good enough push in the right direction.

Curtis Axel: He was a solid Heyman guy and needs someone or something to get him back on track. While he doesn’t necessarily belong or fit in Evolution, he has the skill set to not disappoint.

Kofi Kingston: He’s got so much talent and has never been put in a place to truly showcase himself. A heel run and the support of HHH could work wonders on the top of the card talent who’s been at bottom and middle of the card his entire career.

Corey Graves: If you don’t watch NXT, you have no idea who Graves is. Charismatic and silver-tongued, Graves has a ton of potential. in the ring, he’s a submission specialist that will remind many of CM Punk and Antonio Cesaro. This makes perfect sense if the group is looking to go back to their roots. under the tutelage of Triple H, Graves could be a damn good heel.
