NXT Power Rankings: All About the New Faces

Fresh faces and new match-ups was what this past week’s NXT was all about, as Bull Dempsey, Becky Lynch and the return Enzo Amore all managed to make an impact.

Check out this week’s NXT Power Rankings to see what new faces stood out the most.

Honorable Mention: Becky Lynch: She’s a bit rough around the edges, but it’s hard to argue with her athletic ability, red hair and Cradle Suplex finisher.

5: The Vaudevillians: Aiden English and Simon Gotch: These guys have a solid gimmick that could definitely work in NXT. Their Fireman’s Carry/Second Rope Senton Bomb combination is a solid finish, but they’ll need more if they are ever going to win the NXT Tag Team Championship.

4: Bull Dempsey: This guy has plenty of potential as a brawler, but he needs new ring attire. It’s cool he’s built like the average guy and he’s going for the whole dying breed thing, but nobody wants to see the hairy chest, stomach and belly button, just no. His Snow Plow variation is a cool move too, but that shouldn’t be his finisher moving forward.

3: Colin Cassady: He made quick work of Sawyer Fulton and got a big boost by the return of his buddy, Enzo Amore. What’s next for the two of them? Cassady has massive size and the tools, but needs more ring time. The addition of Amore could give him just that.

2: Tyler Breeze: This kid is so much fun listening to. Part Rick Martel on the mic, with shades of Marty Jannetty, Breeze has plenty of potential in NXT. His Spinning Wheel Kick finisher won’t cut it in WWE, so he’s still a work in progress, but he’s somebody that can carve a niche for himself.

1: Adrian Neville: The NXT Champion faced a tough challenge in Rob Van Dam this past week and made sure to make the most of the rare opportunity. Continuing to make the most of every chance he has to perform with established WWE stars, Neville is ready to make the jump anytime now.
