NXT Power Rankings: Nothing Black and White About Gotch and English

Two solid shows in a row and the announcement of a new GM and two-hour special, NXT is back on the type of footing it needs to be.

With five matches this week and some new feuds, the show was damn good.

Check out this week’ s NXT Power Rankings to see is surging leading to the next NXT Takeover event.

Honorable Mention: Tyson Kidd: His “win” over Tyler Breeze this past week on NXT keeps him relevant on the show. What will he do to Breeze if the “Glamorous One” continues to stand in his way of Adrian Neville’s NXT title? Who knows, but if he’s continually booked to face off against the brand’s top stars, it’s hard not to take him seriously.

5: Enzo Amore: Already the best talker on NXT, Amore is pissed and set for the biggest solo match of his career at the next NXT Takeover. With the tag team revival of Colin Cassady didn’t end the way he would have liked, he’s still got plenty of potential as a singles performer.

4: Mojo Rawley: A week after he was destroyed by Bull Dempsey, Rawley made quick work of Steve Cutler and told the NXT Univverse he’d lost his smile. Beginning the inevitable turn to a heel, the athletic, but boring Rawley needs to step it up in the ring or he’ll never make it to the WWE. Simply put, his move set is a joke.

3: Kalisto and Sin Cara: Fresh off the biggest win of their careers, Kalisto and Cara appear set to take on Simon Gotch and Aiden English for a shot at the NXT Tag Team Champions, The Ascension.

2: Charlotte Flair: She’s the lead bitch in the NXT Women’s division and proved it again in a convincing win over the tough new face Becky Lynch. With enhancement talent all vanquished, Flair needs a real challenger at Takeover. Whether it be Bayley or Sasha Banks, Flair will get her wish very soon.

1: The Vaudevillians, Aiden English and Simon Gotch: These guys are the most exciting tag team in NXT and that includes the Tag Team Champions, The Ascension. Although jokey and light-hearted, this guys can work and have the most potential of any tag team on the brand. Bring on Viktor and Konnor. These guys are ready.
