WWE RAW Power Rankings: Bad News is Always Good News for The Authority

With The Authority back in power, Seth Rollins and Wade Barrett especially enjoyed this week’s Monday Night RAW, as Rollins was announced a the third participant in the WWE World Heavyweight title match at Royal Rumble, while Big Ole Bad News reclaimed the Intercontinental title from fan Favorite Dolph Ziggler.

Check out this week’s RAW Power Rankings to see who else made the most of The Authority’s resurgence.

Win or Lose, He Shows Off: Dolph Ziggler: He doesn’t need a belt. They could even “fire” him and it doesn’t matter. Regardless of who he’s in the ring with, Ziggler breaks a sweat and makes himself and his opponent look fierce and passionate. It’s a skill few in the promotion have and because of that, he’ll always be involved in something special.

Honorable Mention: The Big Show: Regardless of if you’re tired of his act or not, he continues to be a thorn in Roman Reigns’ side and get valuable TV time in the process.

5: Wade Barrett: You can’t deny how much WWE Creative loves Barrett. How many other people miss six months and get their title back? Not many at all. The new Intercontinental Champion, expect Barrett to face off with Dolph Ziggler once again in the promotion’s efforts to bolster and fortify the mid-card. Charismatic and armed with a cool finisher, Barrett has plenty of potential, he just has to stay healthy.

4: Bray Wyatt: His win over Dean Ambrose in the first ever RAW ambulance match was the highlight of the night in an otherwise slow-moving episode of RAW. With no Luke Harper or Erik Rowan by his side and his feud with Ambrose basically over, where does he go from here?

3: Dean Ambrose: A mainstay of the WWE mid-card, Ambrose has much bigger and better things ahead of him than Bray Wyatt. The only question is, who does he feud with next?

2: John Cena: He’s still got a lot of explaining to do after allowing The Authority back in the picture. He’s not a happy camper either considering Seth Rollins access to his WWE World Heavyweight title match with Brock Lesnar at Royal Rumble. For the first time in quite some time, Cena seriously has a lot to prove. it would be a great time to see less Hustle, Loyalty and Respect and a heck of a lot more Ruthless Aggression.

1: Seth Rollins: You simply have to hate him. He’s that much of an evil heel. But with the support of The Authority and now a part in the WWE World Heavyweight title match at Royal Rumble, Rollins’ star power continues to grow. Athletic, charismatic and one of the best young workers in the business, Rollins is the type of guy the WWE needs to be on the top of his game for the promotion to get back on track.
