TNA Impact Wrestling Power Rankings: Angle Ready to Take on All Comers

TNA’s World Heavyweight title picture is deep, to say the very least.

With Bobby Lashley, ECIII, Eric Young, Bobby Roode and Austin Aries all breathing down his throat, Angle’s reign may not be as long as he hopes.

Check out this week’s Impact Wrestling Power Rankings to see who’s making the most out of a ton of competition.

Honorable Mention: Rockstar Spud: Although he needed some help from Drew Galloway, Spud got the win against Low-Ki in his first title defense, just a week after winning the title. A big difference from Ki’s sparse defenses of the title, it’ll be interesting to see which direction the division goes in if Spud is the people’s champion he desires to be.

5: The Rising: Drew Galloway’s new clique with Eli Drake and Mikah, formerly known as Camacho, had no problem taking out the Beat Down Clan this past week on Impact. But with a lack of charisma and being virtually unknown, away from Galloway, how much of an impact can this group really have?

4: Awesome Kong: If beating the surging Brooke Tessmacher wasn’t enough, Kong made an even bigger statement when she put Knockouts Champion Taryn Terrell through a table with a massive Powerbomb.

3: Jeff Hardy: Making his return, Hardy got his vengeance against James Storm and The Revolution this past week on Impact and will soon get back in the Tag Team title picture with his brother, Matt.

2: Ethan Carter III: Now that he’s done feuding with Rockstar Spud, Carter wasted no time inserting himself in the TNA World Heavyweight title scene. One of the most charismatic performers in the company, Carter has wins over Sting, Bully Ray and Angle in his career and has yet to be pinned, or submitted in TNA. With help from Tyrus, Angle is going to have his hands full.

1: Kurt Angle: Not only does Austin Aries want a shot at the title, but so does Eric Young, Bobby Roode and Ethan Carter III. For three years Angle wanted the title back. Well, he just got his wish. If anything, it means Angle is going to be a fighting champion.
