This week’s RAW wasted a wonderful opportunity to take advantage of a crazy London crowd, throwing a huge card together that had little to no real wild moments.
But that doesn’t mean the entire night was a waste of time. Check out this week’s RAW Power Rankings to see who left London with a reason to sip on some tea.
Something Special: Although Sheamus ruined the party, the match between Adrian Neville and Dolph Ziggler was awesome. It was a moment that’ll be remembered as an important one for the young Neville.
Honorable Mention: Paige: Her win in the Divas Battle Royal gets her a shot against Nikki Bella at Extreme Rules and it’s about time. Easily the most “over†worker in the Divas Division, Paige continued her dominance and cut an awesome promo to her hometown crowd. However, after Naomi’s actions, Paige will have to take care of business there first.
5: The Big Show: A couple of weeks ago, it looked like he was better off retiring, but this week, he destroyed Roman Reigns. Could The Giant have one more big feud let in him?
4: The Lucha Dragons: Although it was their weakest performance yet in the WWE, it was a big win over another talented young team in the Ascension and further proves that these guys have plenty of potential.
3: John Cena: His win over Wade Barrett this week on RAW continues to show that he’s got so much more versatility in the ring that he gets credit for. While he did go out of his way to make Barrett look solid, he’s still the US Champ, so don’t think for one second that he’s going to move any lower on the card. With Rusev eager to get another shot at the title as well, Cena is sure to have a prominent role on the show in the weeks ahead.
2: Randy Orton: His win over the Tag Team Champions allows him to pick the stipulation for his match with Seth Rollins at Extreme Rules. Easily the hottest face on the show right now, especially considering the smaller roles for guys like John Cena and Daniel Bryan, as well as Brock Lesnar’s “suspension,†Orton is the guy that has the best shot at taking the WWE World Heavyweight title from Seth Rollins.
1: Seth Rollins: Although Kane nearly broke him in half, Rollins is still the WWE World Heavyweight Champion and one of the best young heels in the business today. As his feud with Randy Orton continues to intensify, expect Rollins to get even better at his craft.
