WWE RAW Power Rankings: Lesnar and Rollins Ready for Showdown in Suplex City

With just two weeks before Battleground, this week’s RAW set up the rest of the matches for the event and gave viewers more Brock Lesnar than they’ve seen in quite some time. Add in a hefty match card and cool finish and it was a solid episode of RAW.

Check out this week’s RAW Power Rankings to see who else besides the mayor of Suplex City starred in a good primer for the go home show before Battleground.

Honorable Mention: Bray Wyatt: He hasn’t done much in the ring the past few weeks, but the mind games he’s playing Roman Reigns are entertaining ones. Both Wyatt and Reigns are a few big feuds away from getting firmly established in the upper part of the card, so why not use each other to help themselves get there?

5: Randy Orton: His return and decimation of Sheamus this week on RAW was a nice way to shore up the upper mid-card just in time for Battleground. Though he’s not the WWE World Heavyweight Champion he was just a year ago at this time, he’s still valuable member of the roster and a guy that is perfect to use on a guy like Sheamus, who needs a big time feud before he cashes in his Money in the Bank.

4: Rusev: The more vicious and calculating Rusev, with Summer Rae by his side, made a big time impact this week on RAW, taking out Dolph Ziggler and ensuring that these two have a solid encounter for Battleground. Like a hefty chunk of the WWE roster, Rusev isn’t quite main event ready, but he continues to prove every week that he’s capable of doing well with more time on TV.

3: John Cena/Kevin Owens: While Seth Rollins and Brock Lesnar continue to get a larger cross section of TV time, Owens and Cena continue to have the best feud in the promotion. With the United States title now at stake, Cena is up for his biggest challenge to date as US Champ, while Owens will have to pony up and be the guy he’s told everyone he’s been since his first day in the company.

2: Seth Rollins: He’s the wiseass and cocky champion you can’t help but hate. But that doesn’t mean he isn’t just as good as he thinks he is. With the renewed support o Triple H and The Authority, Rollins is in a league of his own right now. But can his newfound confidence be enough to get him past Brock Lesnar?

1: Brock Lesnar: Fresh off his decimation of Kofi Kingston in Japan, Lesnar is focused and ready to get back his WWE World Heavyweight Championship belt from Seth Rollins. As Paul Heyman proclaimed on RAW this week, Lesnar is going to take every opportunity to destroy Rollins and The Authority before Battleground. What that means is easy- a ton of German Suplexes and F5’s over the next two weeks leading to Battleground.
