TNA Impact Wrestling Power Rankings: Hardy Ready for Shot at ECIII

James Storm has a new love interest and Matt Hardy will have a shot at Ethan Carter III’s TNA World Heavyweight Championship. Add in Tigre Uno’s words to Donald Trump and you have another solid episode of Impact that for some reason, didn’t feature ECIII.

Check out this week’s TNA Impact Wrestling Power Rankings to see what other surprises Billy Corgan and the rest of TNA Creative had in store this past week.

Honorable Mention: Eli Drake: He cut some solid promo on Drew Galloway and wasted no time making himself hated by the Impact Universe. A good-looking kid with some charisma, if he can hold his own in the ring with Galloway, he has what it takes to be a decent mid-carder with potential.

5: Brooke Tessmacher: The new Knockouts Champion, with some help from Gail Kim, continues to be a thorn in the side of former Knockouts Champ Taryn Terrell and the Dollhouse.

4: Tigre Uno: The X-Division Champion is beginning to find himself in the ring and his promo towards Donald Trump this past week on Impact was proof of his growth, but also TNA’s willingness to tackle everyday issues.

3: Jeff Jarrett: The newest member of the TNA Hall of Fame, some could make the case that Jarrett should have been the first person inducted. With Global Force Wrestling’s alliance with TNA established and Jarrett’s legacy finally confirmed, things will continue to remain interesting between TNA and Jarrett for the next few months.

2: Matt Hardy: Wow, no one expected Hardy to get a shot at the TNA title, so it should be interesting to see where this all goes.

1: Ethan Carter III: Although he wasn’t on the show this week, he’s still the guy to beat and with Tyrus in his corner, it’s not going to be easy.
