WWE RAW Coverage: Stinger’s Splash Before Night of Champions

Sting’s RAW in-ring debut and a lack of filler matches ensured that the season premiere of Monday Night RAW set the scene for what will be an impactful Night of Champions pay per view.

And with Sheamus looming with his Money in the Bank contract, anything can happen. Add in what will be a decent Intercontinental title match between Ryback and Kevin Owens and the PPV return of the Dudley Boys and Night of Champions suddenly isn’t the B-list pay per view it usually is.

Matches:

WWE Tag Team Champions The New Day: Big E. Langston and Kofi Kingston w/Xavier Woods vs. The Prime Time Players: Darren Young and Titus O’Neil: A good opening match with plenty of offense and tags. The New Day were entertaining as ever, thanks to Woods and his trusty trombone. However, O’Neil nearly won with a Powerslam and a Clash of the Titus, but solid tag work from Kingston and Langston allowed them to hit the Double Big Ending for the win.
