The old saying, “When the cat’s away the mice will play,†was on-point this week, as Triple H and Stephanie McMahon’s travel issues put Kane in charge. Although the card was a solid one with ten matches, the main event pitted Corporate Kane against WWE World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins in a lumber jack match. This was the show’s big selling point, but it ended up as its biggest mistake as well.
With the encounter between Rollins and Kane set for Hell in a Cell, why would the WWE continue to push a matchup that no one wants to see, by giving it to them, again, for free?
With a few slow-paced, fast of time matches, lackluster promo from Roman Reigns and a shoddy last hour, the WWE continues to limp its way to Hell in a Cell.
Matches:
Dean Ambrose and Randy Orton vs. WWE Tag Team Champions Big E. Langston and Kofi Kingston w/Xavier Woods: This match was incredibly too long. The back and forth nature made it competitive, but the pace was plodding. Just when Orton appeared to have the match in hand, setting up Kingston for the RKO, Kingston pushed Orton into Ambrose and got the win with the School Boy.

He also stars in Ziggurat Interactive’s World Championship Boxing Manager 2, where he performs the VO of nearly every male character in the game. He also worked on the Atari VCS’s BPM Boy.
